Inward Listening stems from a recent body of paintings that imagines caves as a metaphorical realm wherein individuals can transform fear into magical emotions. Davy conceives the subterranean spaces as wellspring portals that open from illuminated depths to reveal unbridled imagination. Distinguished by a dramatic contrast between light and shadow, Inward Listening positions a red fairy at the edge of its pictorial frame. The figure, starkly contoured against the rest of the image, stands as a witness to the colorful striations that radiate and cascade across the image. For this limited edition series, the artist will hand-embellish fifteen prints by adding a spectrum of fairies and tiny monsters through playful touches of gouache paint.

ART FOR CHANGE will donate a portion of proceeds from each print sold to the Ali Forney Center in support of the organization's mission to protect and empower LGBTQ+ youth. As in all series, the artists will receive 50% of the net proceeds of print sales.
