Marcus Brutus x ART FOR CHANGE: The Uhmericans Weekend Bag, 2024

The weekend bag featuring The Uhmericans on the front and the ART FOR CHANGE logo on the back supports When We All Vote, a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase participation in every election and to close the race and age voting gap. 

Made from heavyweight canvas, the ART FOR CHANGE x Marcus Brutus oversized weekend bag is screen printed with The Uhmericans on the front side and the ART FOR CHANGE logo on the back side. The bag includes a zipper for closure at the top and measures 19 inches wide and 16 inches tall, with a 25 inch handle.

Of ART FOR CHANGE’s initiative of supporting When We All Vote, Brutus notes: “Initially I had painted The Uhmericans in 2018 to commemorate our right to protest and exercise our freedoms as citizens of our country. This image continues to remain relevant and acts as a reminder that we must continue to engage politically and continue to fight to protect the rights of all people in this nation."

In conjunction with the online exhibition, ART FOR CHANGE will donate five percent of the unframed purchase price of sales through December 1st, with a $10,000 minimum commitment, to support When We All Vote’s mission to increase voter participation in this crucial election year.
