Kika Karadi

Kika Karadi was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1975 where she lived until moving to the United States in 1986. Karadi attended high school at the New World School of Arts in Miami and graduated from college with honors from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She received a three year Artist Fellowship Grant at the K.E.T.E. research center in Athens. Most recently, Karadi was an artist in residence at The Chinati Foundation in Marfa, TX. She currently lives and works in New York, New York.

Kika Karadi’s work was exhibited at the 2nd Prague Biennale and the 51st Venice Biennale. Her museum exhibitions include the Centro-Museo Vasco de Arte Contemporáneo in Spain and Centre PasquArt in Switzerland. Her solo exhibitions include The Chianti Foundation, Marfa, Texas, Jonathan Viner Gallery, London, UK and The Journal Gallery, Brooklyn, NY. Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions, including “Abstraction: A Visual Language” at Rhona Hoffman Gallery in Chicago, Illinois, “I KNOW YOU GOT SOUL” at Arndt Singapore, “LIFE” at Venus over Manhattan in New York, NY.
