September 13 - September 15, 2019
ART FOR CHANGE is pleased to present New York based artist Kika Karadi at the September Art Show in Bridgehampton. The September Art Show at The Bridge is an invitation only, open-air art show presented in artist-designed shipping containers on the grounds of Bridgehampton's exclusive golf club. A portion of proceeds from this exhibition will benefit The Bridge Golf Foundation, a non-profit with a mission to use the game of golf to improve life outcomes for young men of color.
As stated by the co-founder of the non-profit, Bob Rubin, "The Bridge Golf Foundation is making a major difference in the lives of underserved young men. We are grateful to ART FOR CHANGE for recognizing this...and to the artist Kika Karadi for her generosity."

The paintings of Kika Karadi are in fact one-shot compositions that are first intricately prepared on a temporary substrate with an array of additive and subtractive techniques that employ layering, masking, stencils, wipeouts, cut-out shapes, and material textures to build up the surface. Then, at the critical moment, the arrangement is impressed onto canvas with oil paint, and the image is apparated all at once in a process Karadi conceptualizes as immaculate abstraction.
Connecting artists with similar mindsets is at the heart of what we do. When discussing the partnership with ART FOR CHANGE and The Bridge Golf Foundation, Karadi said "As someone who was a beneficiary of a magnet high school scholarship, I encourage the fostering of young talent." All paintings are available for purchase. Thirty percent of the net proceeds will be donated to The Bridge Golf Foundation.
