Artist-in-Residence Program!
We are thrilled to announce the debut of our six week long artist-in-residence program in Santa Monica, CA with artist Madeleine Bialke. With the launch of the residency, we deepen our commitment to supporting both artists and socially conscious collectors. By offering a dedicated collector base access to works by incredible emerging talents, we continue to foster meaningful connections between artists and patrons who share a passion for art that drives positive change.
As our inaugural resident, Madeleine Bialke will create works inspired by visits to California’s dwindling Sequoia forests and her experiences along the California coast. Known for her use of color to evoke an over-saturated, unnatural environment, her work reflects the current climate crisis. During the residency, Madeleine Bialke will create a body of work consisting of five paintings, a series of drawings, and a new hand-embellished limited edition print that will be available for purchase to ART FOR CHANGE collectors.
As part of ART FOR CHANGE’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and charitable giving, we will plant 10 trees for each artwork sold. The pledge not only supports ecological renewal but also draws inspiration from Bialke’s naturalist works, which celebrate the vibrancy and untouched beauty of landscapes, underscoring a shared dedication to preserving our planet’s terrains.
