There is another way to think about art.
In a recent feature by Ade Adenji with Inside Philanthropy founder Jeanne Masel shared the vision behind ART FOR CHANGE, leveraging art as a powerful tool to support both artists and the causes they care about.
“Masel noticed a gap. She says arts organizations were often leaving money on the table by not leveraging their artist relationships to produce compelling editions that could generate revenue for a cause.”
She began to fill that gap herself
Through close collaboration with artists and nonprofit partners, each piece is created with intention—benefiting both the artist and a meaningful cause.
Masel notes " “I felt I could use my business skills and artist relationships to help support institutions.” For every piece of art sold, Art for Change donates a portion of the proceeds to a non-profit organization And artists receive 50% of the net proceeds of each sale
When you collect through ART FOR CHANGE, you’re not just bringing something impactful into your space, you’re extending that impact beyond it.
