Marisa Adesman

Roslyn-born, St. Louis-based artist Marisa Adesman produces surreal and thought-provoking paintings of everyday objects in unexpected contexts and striking states of mystical transformation. Adesman holds her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her BFA from Washington University, St. Louis. Upcoming and recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition at KMAC Museum (Louisville, KY); a solo presentation at EXPO Chicago; Folklore at Anat Ebgi Gallery (Los Angeles, CA); and A Few Small Nips at Mrs. Gallery (Maspeth, NY). The artist’s work has been featured in numerous publications including The Art Newspaper, The Boston Globe, and Juxtapoz Magazine among others.
