Little Wanderers NYC

Little Wanderers is an all-volunteer cat rescue group in New York City that provides critical direct rescue, foster, and rehabilitation services to the neediest cats in the toughest neighborhoods. Since its founding in 2016, Little Wanderers has rescued over 5,000 cats and adopted out over 4,300. Through education and outreach, they help engage communities to practice Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) and provide access to free and low-cost spay/neuter services to community members who would otherwise not have resources. Their aim is to reduce generational suffering on the street for stray and feral cats and reduce the cat overpopulation problem.

In celebration of National Pet Month, ART FOR CHANGE is pleased to partner with artists James Ulmer, Lydia Blakeley, and Kelly Beeman to create new limited editions benefitting Little Wanderers, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization committed to saving cats from the five boroughs of New York City. Artist Kour Pour will additionally create a special collection of three original works on paper as part of this series, marking his second partnership with ART FOR CHANGE.

ART FOR CHANGE will donate a portion of proceeds from each work sold to Little Wanderers to help fulfill the rescue group’s mission to target cats who would otherwise be overlooked—the severely injured and neglected—with an emphasis on the city’s most underserved areas. As in all series, artists will receive 50% of the net proceeds of print sales. Works by all four artists will be released during the month of May.
