In these three editions, the prints explore ideas of identity, belonging, and connection to Country. Perez reflects on how images originally created to promote tourism can become deeply personal and take on new meaning, and become part of their Aboriginal identity. By turning these images into paintings, the artist reclaims the landscape and expresses a personal connection to a place that feels like a part of who they are.
