Darryl Westly

Darryl Westly (born 1989, Chicago, Illinois) received his BFA from the Cooper Union in 2014. In 2016 Westly participated in the Beirut Art Residency Program in Beirut, Lebanon and in March 2023 attended The Church Sag Harbor Painting Intensive residency on Long Island. In the fall of 2023 Westly completed his first permanent Public art work for the New Westbury station on Long island, a commission by The MTA LIRR Whose work began in fall of 2020. Solo presentations include A Dream Deferred at 1969 Gallery, NY NY(2021) Interior/Exterior at ParisTexasLA Gallery, LA, CA (2019). Groupe exhibitions include Arcadia and Elsewhere at James Cohan gallery NY, Manscaping at The Hole LA and Skin + Masks at Kavi Gupta IL. Collections include the Rema Hort Mann Foundation, The Portland Museum of Art, The Fidelity Collection, among many others. Westly lives and works in New York, New York.
