Changemaker Series - Pari Ehsan

ART FOR CHANGE’s Changemakers series invites luminaries in the art and cultural sphere to reflect upon the causes that impassion them, and to call upon their networks of artists to create new, exclusive limited editions that benefit charities and organizations of their choosing. Presented quarterly, it follows AFC’s guiding mission of utilizing contemporary art as a vehicle for social change. Through collaboration with a rotating roster of influential individuals, Changemakers further enables AFC to support artists’ practices while addressing a multitude of challenges that face the global community today.

To inaugurate the initiative, AFC has partnered with Iranian American creator Pari Ehsan to commission three print editions with Shirin Neshat, Kour Pour, and Arghavan Khosravi in support of the Center for Human Rights in Iran. These artist editions will be introduced during the week leading up to Nowruz, or the Persian New Year—an annual celebration that itself symbolizes change and renewal.
