Audre Lorde Project

In celebration of Pride Month, ART FOR CHANGE is pleased to partner with artists Giorgio Celin, Justin Liam O’Brien and Ricardo Partida to create new limited editions in support of the Audre Lorde Project, a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two-Spirit, Trans and Gender Non Conforming (LGBTSTGNC) People of Color community organizing center focused on the New  York City area. First developed by Advocates for Gay Men of Color in 1994, the organization takes its namesake inspiration from the activist and artist who spoke to the importance of struggle for liberation among oppressed peoples.

ART FOR CHANGE will donate a portion of proceeds from each print sold to the Audre Lorde Project, in support of the organization’s mission to achieve community wellness and progressive social and economic justice through mobilization, education and capacity-building. As in all series, artists will receive 50% of the net proceeds of print sales. Works by all three artists will be released during the month of June.
