The Survivorby Madeleine Bialke Oil painting 18 x 22 inches
In this work Bialke is thinking about survivors of past eras and nature's resilience. Influenced by James Audubon, this painting depicts the Algonquin Red wolf, a strain of wolf that is now extinct. However, large traces of its DNA are are currently found in the eastern coyote. In an age of crisis its good to recall the resilience and determination of genes, and how life finds a way to survive in many different contexts.
We will donate 20% of the net proceeds of this painting by Madeleine Bialke to the Natural Resource Defense Council.
