Drafting his works in 3D modeling programs, the artist achieves heightened levels of geometric and compositional accuracy, while retaining a mysterious, ethereal atmospheric effect. The artist received his BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2016 and recent exhibitions include shows at Harper’s (New York, NY and Los Angeles, CA), Nicodim Gallery (New York, NY), and K&P Gallery (New York, NY). The artist’s work has been featured in a number of publications including Architectural Digest and Forbes.

Changing Room is a psychological portrait that is an excellent example of the most technical direction of Kim’s work—refining and recalibrating his transfer and draftsmanship techniques to suit this most recent turn in his figurative practice. Thin layers of pigment under swathes of varnish heighten the cognitive distance between the viewer and subject. The eye is swallowed into the vacuous royal purple mirror reflective—cutting through abstracted environments of a shared memory. Creases and folds of texture, evoking a timeless stillness reminiscent of the darkest corners of an estate sale, silhouette the luminous yellow light contouring the female figure and reflecting off of the velvet, chartreuse curtains. The stillness of transition between person and character is captured—like a religious transformation or spiritual consumption of the self and performance. Although these collages are not replicated in the final works, they become visual and metaphorical starting points that are then reimagined on the canvas. In the decade following, the artist expanded her visual motif from supermodels to quotidian objects and figures. Through her index of images—which have included tacos, toilet paper, cigarettes, and the Pink Panther, to name just a few—Bernhardt chronicles her life and the broader culture, taking pleasure in fully investigating each of her obsessions before moving onto another. The work’s title is a direct reference to the slogan popularized by the cereal brand’s cartoon leprechaun mascot, tapping into viewers’ collective childhood nostalgia. In college, I studied Environmental Science alongside Art History, so the two are inextricably tied! Moving to Tennessee after nearly two decades in the city, I have been able to plant a tree on each Mother’s Day. These compositions employ a technique that recalls printmaking traditions—in which preparatory drawings, based on both original photographs and popular reproductions, are applied with oil sticks and pressed onto canvas surfaces. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and based in New York, NY, Perez has presented solo exhibitions at venues that include Dallas Contemporary, Dallas, TX; UTA Artist Space, Los Angeles, CA; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, FL. Additionally, his work can be found in the esteemed collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY; the British Museum, London, United Kingdom; the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY; Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico, San Juan, PR; and the Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA; among others.

Dorado Beach Pool stems from a recent body of work inspired by the paradisiacal settings of the Caribbeans—and, more specifically, the ways that they have been marketed through resort brochures and travel catalogs. Amassed over time, these promotional images become visual fodder for the artist, who mines the ways in which the locale has been sold as a fantasy to both foreigners and locals alike. Perez’s work centers on Dorado, a town in northern Puerto Rico populated by luxurious hotels and mansions. Detailed by shadowy lines that insinuate the soft movement caused by a tropical breeze, the image centers on a swimming pool surrounded by umbrellas that provide shade to a presumed, though unseen, elite. In this way, the image offers a critique on capitalist exploitations of the island territory, while simultaneously celebrating its beauty.
Enoc Perez
Dorado Beach Pool, 2024
24 x 19.5 inches
Archival pigment print
Limited edition of 10

Hand-embellished, signed and numbered by the artist
Limited edition of 20 with 5AP + 1PP

Signed and numbered by the artist

ART FOR CHANGE will plant ten trees for each print sold in support of global reforestation efforts. Born in Los Angeles and currently based in Brooklyn, the artist explores how the process of world building can become a zone of creative and cultural liberation. Known for her bold palettes and mystic forms, Haynes utilizes the imaginative strategies of science fiction and Afrofuturism to envision alternate futures for people of African descent. She has exhibited internationally, notably at the Biennale De Dakar in 2020, and participated in the inaugural cohorts of the Black Rock Senegal and Powerhouse Arts residency programs. Additionally, her work is in the public collections of the Perez Art Museum, Miami, FL; Bunker Artspace, West Palm Beach, FL; California African American Museum, Los Angeles, CA; and the X Museum, Beijing, China.

There Seems No Doubt portrays a recurring female figure who serves as the protagonist in an ever unfolding narrative. The archetypal character’s skin is rendered pitch black, as an intentional expression of the color’s fullness, presence, mystery, and opacity. Influenced by symbolic traditions that include the abstraction of the human form in West African masks and the use of the side profile in ancient Egyptian art, Haynes points her subject face towards the left, partially obscuring her facial features from the viewer. The artist notes, “Lately, I’ve been thinking deeply about costume, wings, portals, and environments as parts of this larger visual cosmology I’m creating. I am interested in images that feel familiar enough to enter, but strange enough that they suggest another world operating just beyond our own.” For this limited edition series, Haynes will hand embellish twelve prints with unique elements that build on her speculative world.

Grace Lynne Haynes
There Seems No Doubt, 2026
Archival pigment print
24 x 16.6 inches
Limited edition of 12
Hand-embellished, signed and numbered by the artist

Limited edition of 10 with 4 AP + 2 PP
Signed and numbered by the artist

As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and charitable giving, we will plant 10 trees for each print sold.

Of ART FOR CHANGE’s initiative to support global reforestation, she adds, “Nature has always been an important visual and conceptual part in my work. Even when my environments are speculative or otherworldly, they are often filled with plants, marine forms, natural structures, and imagined ecosystems. Supporting global reforestation feels aligned with my interest because forests are not only vital ecological systems, but also places of memory, abundance, and possibility.
