Danielle Orchard

Danielle Orchard (b. 1985, Michigan City, IN) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a BFA in Painting from Indiana University and an MFA in Painting from CUNY Hunter College. Recent awards include the Frederick Hammersley Artist in Residence at the Tamarind Institute, University of New Mexico; the Alma B.C. Schapiro Artist in Residence Award, The Corporation of Yaddo; and the Dedalus Foundation MFA Fellowship Award. Her work has been reviewed by the New York Times, The New Yorker Magazine, The Cut, and Juxtapoz Magazine, among other publications. The artist is represented by Jack Hanley Gallery in NYC and V1 Gallery in Copenhagen, Denmark.
